OCTOBER 16, 2016- HALIFAX, MA – The weather was quite warm for mid-October with temps in the low seventies. It was sunny and very beautiful with a steady comfortable breeze.

After two rounds two of the five contestants had been sent home. Neil Simpson and Greg Wornell had two wins while Brian Stas was sitting at one win and one loss. Neil drew the round three bye. Greg and Brian were well into their match up tied at one cut apiece when contact where neither plane came down, left Brian with prop damage, a slowed plane and vulnerable to the cut that gave Greg the margin of victory. Neil and Greg faced off in the final. Even though they were both undefeated they decided one match would decide the contest win. There was lots of action early when a line tangle crash gave Greg both the match and the contest win.
