SASHA NADEIN, ANDREY NADEIN AND BRIAN STAS
TAKE THE TROPHY SPOTS

JUNE 3, 2017- HALIFAX, MA – The weather was better than expected, partly cloudy with way less wind than forecasted while the rain, which was also in the forecast, waited until just after the final match. Temperatures were in the mid-sixties. This contest was very competitive as in addition to four of our New England regulars Andrey and Sasha Nadein made the long trip from Pennsylvania, making the contest better through their participation. At the end of two rounds two New Englanders had been sent home, Andrey and Chris Sarnowski were sitting at one win and one loss while Sasha and Brian Stas were undefeated. In round three Sasha got past Chris three cuts to one ending the day for Chris. In the same round Andre handed Brian his first loss. In round four Andrey got the bye while Sasha relegated Brian to third place with a two cut win. In a one cut apiece final Sasha got past her dad on airtime wining the match and the contest in the process. Sasha finished the day at five wins and no losses outscoring very formidable opponents twelve cuts to three in the process. Her win was well earned.

Thank you to Tanya Nadein and Paul Kubek for judging the event and making everyone’s day easier as a result. Thank you, as always, to the Wingbusters for the use of their fine facility which was manicured and very green.
