OCTOBER 15, 2017- HALIFAX, MA – The weather was mostly cloudy and quite warm for mid-October with temps well into the seventies. Wind conditions were light until almost contest end when the breeze became steady and stronger. 

After two rounds two of the five contestants had been sent home. Greg Wornell had two wins while Brian Stas and Chris Sarnowski were sitting at one win and one loss. Brian drew the round three bye while Chris got past Greg with an airtime win. In the semi-final match Greg got past Brian leaving Brian with the third place finish. In the final Greg got past Chris to earn the contest win.
