OCTOBER 24, 2021 – SAUGUS, MA – The 107th RC Flyers control line field in Saugus, Massachusetts was the location for the 2021 Fall Championships. The weather was sunny, moderate breeze with temps topping out at or near sixty degrees. There were seven pilots on hand to fly Formula GX combat.

Round one saw Brian Stas get off to the best start with a 830 point three cut win followed by Bill Bishop who logged a one cut win. Brian and Bill faced off in round two with Brian earning a one cut win. Meanwhile Neil Simpson moved into contention with a three cut win over Cody Bishop. Rick Clark began to move close to the leaders, as well, with an airtime win over Chris Sarnowski. In Round three Neil and Brian had a well flown full five minute war with Brian emerging with a two cut to one win. Next Rick got a one cut win over Bill and Chris began to move toward the leaders with a one cut win over Ara Dedekian. The last three matches would be meaningful. Chris put pressure on the leaders with a two cut win over Cody. Next Neil got past Bill with a one cut win. In the final Rick got an airtme win over Brian. When the final scores were tabulated it was Brian, Neil and Rick in that order. Chris who was coming on strong at the end finished a close fourth.
