SEPTEMBER 26, 2021-SAUGUS, MA - Nine contestants were on hand for this one. The weather was warm and sunny with a light sea breeze. Temperatures topped out in the low seventies.

Round one saw Chris Sarnowski and Rick Clark get off to the best starts each posting 620 point wins however Brian Stas, Neil Simpson and Jeff Vader were all in close pursuit. In round two Chris and Rick mid-aired, Neil and Brian flew to a low scoring draw and Jeff assumed the contest lead with a two cut win over Cody Bishop. In round three Brian and Jeff mid-aired hurting both their cumulative scores while Chris was posting a two cuts to one victory over Neil earning the contest lead in the process. Going into round four Chris had about a hundred point lead over Jeff and Neil. Bill Bishop, Joe Fustolo and Brian were also within range about four hundred points off the pace set by Chris. In the matches preceding the final Brian and Neil each posted 620 point wins over Rick and Joe respectively. The final would be between Chris and Jeff. Early in the match Chris lost line tension and crashed. He got back up but his airplane flew apart due to spar damage from the crash. Jeff had to settle for a 520 point airtime win. When the scores were tabulated Neil had done just enough to win with Jeff second and Brian third.

In the “Nemesis Only Shootout” Brian Stas topped a field of six flyers to win the event.
